family

A family of snakes lives in the bushes in our front yard. Lately it's become a hobby of ours to stand on the porch and lean over to see them all. There are four in this photo; Oldilocks, Neon Tiger, Rocky, and Bullwinkle. We named these four, but know of at least four other snakes that live there with them. There is another big mommy or daddy, a slightly smaller big dull-colored snake, a really small but super bright one, and at least one teeny tiny baby. And this is only the front yard!

I love that you named them! I find snakes fascinating to watch.

After looking at the picture in a larger scale, I noticed one of them is looking up at you.
Anyway...

ewww I would have those suckers killed in 2 seconds (NO, not by me of course). But then again they are better then Spiders. All spiders should die painful deaths!
p.s. K that was harsh.............
..............nope, no it wasn't!

Caty--Yes, that would be Bullwinkle. I forgot about all that flashing my camera does.

Steph--Spiders MUST die!!, but snakes are okay--as long as I don't have to touch them...

I forgot to mention--Chris saw at least 3 different snakes while he was mowing the backyard the other day. :S

I actually stole that soap bear from a hotel room in Jackson Hole. That soap hand looks creepy but then again I would totally put that in my home for my guests. Let’s just hope they don’t do inappropriate things to it while no one is looking ;)
