making it

Thanksgiving.
Everyone brings one [side] dish + one dessert.

I'm making calico beans.
nomnomnom.
Screw everyone else's [side] dishes; this stuff is the best.

I just need a dessert...

i think i love you

I made this for my very best long lost Korean friend.
It says I love you...
or at least I hope it does.
And I hope there's only one I love you in Korean.

so cold

It's 43 degrees and I'm already wishing for Spring.
I'm excited about only working three days next week.
I can't believe Christmas is fast approaching.
I need a change of hair.
Leftovers for lunch is better than nothing.
When's the last time I wore makeup?

Who knows.

sunday afternoon

blast from the past

okay, so this isn't from the so distant past...

part of my internship at Decades this Summer was to design artwork for tags/cards/etc
I designed three sets of business cards, two sets of hang tags, one coupon, and one survey card

I only have photos of one business card & the coupon card...
These were a lot of fun to make, and I'm so pleased with how they printed up.

as of late

so... i had a birthday.
i'm too lazy to post about all my wonderful gifts right now.
maybe later?

anyway... for some reason i'm obsessed [read sort-of-watching-repeatedly]
with this a capella version of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream from last night's episode of Glee.
I don't even watch Glee.

I do, however, wish life was more like it's portrayed in television:
monstrously large groups of grown men dressed for prep school, breaking out in song,
and loving every minute of it.  Oh...and the dancing, too.
